I wanted to apologize if my story -- Queen of Darkness -- became confusing since I switched the point of view in my story from third person to first person. I just found it easier to write the story in first person. Aiyana is the the character in which I am writing the point of view from, in case you got confused.

That is something writers often. You get a new perspective when you change the POV...and sometimes discovers aspects of your story that you may not have thought of previously.
